Donovan Clingan, a prominent 7’2″ center for the University of Connecticut’s consecutive championship teams, recently disclosed on Caleb Feemster’s podcast some surprising new information regarding his brief encounter with President Joe Biden at the White House earlier this year. Clingan mentioned that Biden appeared noticeably disoriented during their visit, even going as far as to imply that Biden seemed to have trouble remembering the events that were unfolding on multiple occasions.

“Last year, after we won our national championship we went to the White House and took a picture with Joe Biden, team picture,” Clingan said. “Joe Biden talked to us for about three minutes.”

Clingan stated that coach Dan Hurley’s advice was completely disregarded when asked about the guidance given by Biden to the players.

“We really couldn’t understand what he was saying,” he admitted. “And then he was like, ‘All right, let’s grab a picture.’”

Clingan responded by stating that Biden’s knowledge of basketball in general was quite limited.
