(The Post Millennial) – The View’s Joy Behar said on Thursday that Senator Tim Scott doesn’t understand what “systemic racism” means.
“Joy, what country is Tim Scott living in?” Whoopi Goldberg asked after playing a clip of Scott’s rebuttal to Biden’s address to congress. The clip included Scott saying “America is not a racist country”—an obviously true statement that even VP Kamala Harris agrees with.
In response, Behar said, “Tim Scott, he does not seem to understand—and a lot of [Republicans] don’t seem to understand—the difference between a racist country and systemic racism. They don’t seem to get the difference.”
“Yes, maybe it’s not a racist country. Maybe Americans, the majority, are not racist. But we live in a country with systemic racism,” Behar said. “The fact that Tim Scott cannot acknowledge this is appalling. How can you go out there and say that when you just said two minutes ago that you were the object and the victim of discrimination?”

The notoriously liberal and easily triggered co-host also took aim at Kevin McCarthy:
“Does that mean that they’re for child poverty? When he says that he wants clean water and Kevin McCarthy is sitting on his hands and not reacting, does Kevin McCarthy like dirty water? Maybe he should campaign on that. Dirty water for everybody,” she said.
She ended her rant by suggesting expressing her disappointment in Scott, while saying he must acknowledge that there is “systemic racism” in America.
After Scott’s successful rebuttal to Biden, Twitter allowed liberals to smear the senator with the racist trend “Uncle Tim” for hours.
