Disturbing incidents have been reported in Sydney, Australia as authorities intervene with actions against Jewish citizens while instructing pro-Israel demonstrators to remain home, all while radical Muslim protesters flood the streets, chanting “gas the Jews.”

Pro-Hamas demonstrators have been rallying on the streets to express support for the terrible acts of terrorism in Israel that have resulted in hundreds of innocent lives lost, assaults, and abductions.

Outside the iconic Sydney Opera House on Monday night, law enforcement permitted anti-Semitic protesters to burn the Star of David while uttering offensive slogans like “f**k the Jews” and the “Allahu Akbar” chant often associated with Islamic terrorism.

In contrast, the pro-Israel rallies faced police crackdowns, and one protester was arrested and taken away by law enforcement for attempting to display an Israeli flag.

These events have been widely criticized by leaders across the political spectrum for their “despicable” nature.

The anti-Jewish rally was organized by the Palestine Action Group Sydney.

Substantial groups of pro-Hamas activists gathered at Town Hall in Sydney’s Central Business District (CBD) on Monday evening before proceeding to the Opera House.

Although the sails of the Opera House were briefly illuminated in blue and white as a show of support for Israel, the display was rather brief, and the colors were subdued.

Supporters of Israel were unfortunately advised to stay away, and some could only observe the lighting from the other side of Circular Quay.

The Opera House witnessed scenes of turmoil as the demonstration was led by radical Muslims.

Pro-Hamas individuals wearing black masks gathered under the steps of the iconic harborside venue, launching lit flares at law enforcement while shouting slogans like “f*** Israel” and “gas the Jews.”

As radical Muslims incinerated the Israeli flag and expressed offensive slogans, law enforcement officers stood by.

Large groups of men were seen setting fire to an Israeli flag with firecrackers before stamping on it and tearing it apart.

In the midst of these incidents, cries of “Allahu Akbar” (Arabic for “God is great”) and “death to the Jews” resounded, and some individuals approached the police barrier while holding torn pieces of the Israeli flag.

Amidst the violent turmoil, the call for protesters to respect law enforcement appeared to fall on deaf ears. A substantial police presence, numbering over 100 officers, surrounded the Opera House to maintain order, but they did not intervene when flares and other objects were thrown at them by pro-Hamas demonstrators. Instead, the officers placed these lit flares in containers of water as a thick, acrid smoke filled the air.

This hands-off approach towards radical activists has raised allegations of bias, especially in contrast to pro-Israel demonstrators who were apprehended by the police for attempting to display the Israeli flag. At the earlier gathering near Town Hall, a man holding an Israeli flag was forcibly removed by three police officers for “disrupting the peace.” He was escorted away before even unfurling the flag.

In a video of the incident shared on Twitter/X, the man can be heard repeating, “I’ve done nothing wrong.” An officer explained to him, “You’ve been arrested in relation to a breach of the peace.” Subsequently, a speaker informed the disgruntled crowd: “Zionists don’t deserve our attention.”
