House Republicans have made a public release of a dossier containing 22 instances of evidence aimed at supporting allegations of influence-peddling against Democratic President Joe Biden and his family.

GOP lawmakers assert that this dossier provides evidence of Biden’s involvement in his family’s alleged “influence-peddling schemes.”

The release of the dossier was a direct response to assertions from Democrats and their corporate media supporters that there is “no evidence” to justify the impeachment inquiry into Biden.

As reported by Slay News on Tuesday, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) disclosed that House committee leaders have initiated an impeachment inquiry into the president. McCarthy emphasized the discovery of a “culture of corruption” surrounding Biden and his family.

The allegations imply that the president had a substantial role in business dealings initially thought to be led by his son, Hunter Biden.

Certain liberal media outlets portrayed Republican lawmakers as having insufficient grounds for their actions. For instance, the Associated Press stated in a social media post that House investigators had asserted Biden and his son were involved in influence-peddling “without evidence.”

Certain corporate media organizations have characterized this action as a political maneuver and a form of “retribution” in response to President Donald Trump’s impeachment.

On Wednesday, the House Oversight Committee issued a press release, presenting evidence to support their claim of discovering a substantial body of evidence.

The panel stated, “There is an increasing amount of evidence indicating Joe Biden’s participation in his family’s influence-peddling activities, even during his tenure as vice president.”

“Nonetheless,” the committee continued, “Democrats and their corporate media allies persist in disregarding this extensive evidence while attempting to divert the attention of the American public away from the alleged corruption within the Biden family. Presented below are more than 20 instances of Joe Biden’s involvement.”

One example cited in the memo pertains to the testimony of former Hunter Biden business associate, Devon Archer. Archer’s testimony revealed at least 20 instances during Joe Biden’s vice presidency when he engaged in discussions with his son’s foreign business associates. This testimony has raised inquiries into the nature and purpose of these interactions.

Archer directly implicated the president as being central to the Biden family business, describing him as “The Brand” being marketed by the family enterprise. He asserted that Joe Biden’s role involved conveying “signals of power, access, and influence,” which in turn enriched the family through dealings with foreign entities.

In February 2014, reports indicated that Joe Biden had dined with oligarchs from Russia and Kazakhstan, who were connected to significant financial transactions involving Hunter Biden and his associates. This suggests a direct connection between Biden’s official responsibilities and his family’s business interests.

Another instance occurred in April 2015 when Joe Biden dined with his son’s foreign business associates, including Vadym Pozharsky, an executive at the Ukrainian company Burisma, which was under investigation for corruption at the time.

Additionally, there were instances like Joe Biden meeting his son’s Chinese business associate, Jonathan Li of BHR, in Beijing and providing a college letter of recommendation for Li’s daughter. These revelations contradicted Joe Biden’s repeated denials of discussing Hunter Biden’s business pursuits.

The committee’s release highlighted a gathering at the vice president’s official residence in 2015, attended by Hunter Biden, Archer, and other business associates, suggesting their efforts to influence the appointment of a United Nations position and their connections within government circles.

It was also revealed that Joe Biden used the pseudonym “Robert L. Peters” and was aware of a call with the president of Ukraine in 2016 that included Hunter, who served on the board of Burisma.

An incident from Dec. 4, 2015, involved correspondence between Biden business associate Eric Schwerin and Kate Bedingfield in the Office of the Vice President. They discussed media responses related to Hunter Biden’s role in Burisma, with Bedingfield acknowledging that the “VP signed off on this.”

The release included an email from May 2017, where James Gilliar, a Biden family associate, outlined how profits from a deal with CEFC, a Chinese Communist Party-affiliated energy company, would be divided, with Joe Biden allegedly set to receive 10 percent.

Furthermore, it highlighted a pattern of concealment, with Gilliar advising another Biden associate, Tony Bobulinksi, not to mention Joe Biden’s involvement unless they were in person.

An email dated Sept. 21, 2017, from Hunter identified Joe Biden “as his business partner and provided Joe Biden’s personal cell phone” number for verification, indicating their collaboration.

Other emails suggested Hunter Biden’s efforts to leverage his father’s position for personal gain, including a 2017 message in which he demanded money from Chinese business associates while claiming Joe Biden was nearby, and he warned of repercussions if his demand wasn’t met.

The release also raised questions about Hunter’s dealings with Chinese investors, with one email from September 2011 emphasizing that his value to them was linked to his “last name.”

Other pieces of evidence the House GOP listed in the release include:

Hunter’s statement in 2017 suggested the Bidens’ effectiveness in fulfilling Chinese Chairman Ye Jianming‘s desires and CEFC China’s vision.
Rob Walker’s FBI interview in 2020 indicated Joe Biden’s attendance at a CEFC meeting.
Joe Biden’s decision to have Hunter accompany him on Air Force Two during international trips that potentially benefited the Biden family.
More than 80 visits by Hunter’s associates to the White House during Joe Biden’s vice presidency.
Joe Biden’s meeting with Hunter’s Mexican business associates at the White House in 2014.
Hunter’s video call with his father and Mexican partners in 2015, followed by a visit to the vice president’s residence.
Hunter and an associate’s travel to Mexico on Air Force Two for business in 2016.
The FBI’s 2020 FD-1023 form containing allegations of Joe Biden’s involvement in an extortion scheme.
Hunter’s 2019 text suggesting different financial expectations within the family compared with his father.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) said in a statement Thursday that the panel “is working to follow the facts and hold President Biden accountable.”
