(TStarnes) – The U.S. women’s national soccer team can’t seem to muster the courage or decency to honor the national anthem. During the start of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, most of the players remained silent with their hands by their side during the “Star-Spangled Banner.”
One player smacked chewing gum and several others had smirks on their faces. A few players did place their hand over their heart and sang along. We posted the video below.
The Vietnam team, meanwhile, sang along in unison when their national anthem was played. And every athlete held their right hand over their heart.
The coach should’ve marched out onto the soccer field and pulled his team out of the competition. They don’t deserve to represent our nation and quite frankly, We the People deserve better.
We should implement a hard, fast rule. If you hate our nation, you don’t get to play soccer for our nation. I’m sure the Russians would be delighted to take you. Just ask Brittney Griner. Watch below.
