Republicans are pushing for subpoenas targeting the estate of Jeffrey Epstein to secure the notorious flight logs from his private jet, known as the “Lolita Express.” The aircraft, equipped with beds onboard, has been identified by numerous victims as a primary location of abuse. Former President Bill Clinton has been acknowledged to have flown on the private jet at least 26 times, though suspicions persist that his frequency of travel on the plane may exceed the disclosed instances. Republican Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) urged her Senate colleagues on Thursday to endorse a subpoena against Epstein’s estate, seeking access to the flight logs.

“Given the numerous allegations of human trafficking and abuse surrounding Mr. Epstein, we’ve got to identify everyone who could have participated in his horrific conduct,” Blackburn said in a news release.

Blackburn revealed her submission of the request during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing focused on Sen. Dick Durbin’s (D-IL) endeavors to probe Supreme Court ethics matters. In the midst of an intense exchange between the two legislators, Blackburn unveiled a set of subpoenas, among them the one targeting Epstein’s estate.

“I think it is very important that we identify everybody that was on that plane, and how many trips they took on that plane and the destinations to which they arrived,” she said.

Epstein was discovered dead in his New York prison cell in August 2019 while awaiting trial for sex trafficking charges. His illicit operation involved orchestrating a vast network of underage girls for sexual exploitation. Before his death at the age of 66, Epstein pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Following his demise, Ghislaine Maxwell, his accomplice, has been convicted and imprisoned for her role in the sex trafficking operations. However, authorities have been reticent about disclosing the identities of those to whom they were trafficking the victims, and the elusive “client list” has never been publicly revealed.

Reports from Business Insider indicated that Epstein owned at least three jets, including a Gulfstream II sold in November 2013, a Gulfstream IV sold before his arrest, and a Boeing 727 known as the “Lolita Express.” The “Lolita Express” gained notoriety for transporting prominent individuals and girls worldwide amidst the accusations against Epstein. This private jet’s flight records are said to contain names of those who traveled with him.

In December 2021, prosecutors reportedly released thousands of flight records during Maxwell’s sex-trafficking trial, which included dates, points of departure and arrival, number of landings, and the pilot’s signature. Victims and one of Epstein’s pilots have asserted that public figures such as Bill Gates, Prince Andrew, and Bill Clinton were among those who traveled with the disgraced financier.

Flight manifests unsealed in a defamation case against Maxwell reportedly included Clinton, supermodel Naomi Campbell, and astronaut John Glenn, as per reports by Insider. FAA records obtained by Insider revealed that Epstein’s jets primarily flew between his former residences in New York and Palm Beach, as well as his estates in Paris, New Mexico, and the Virgin Islands.

Epstein’s private island in the Virgin Islands earned the nickname “Pedophile Island” due to the transportation of underage girls to and from the secluded location, which was frequented by Epstein’s high-profile associates.
