(The Post Millennial) – Multiple rockets were fired toward the US Embassy in Baghdad on Tuesday. The Washington Post reports that at least two of the rockets hit inside Baghdad’s fortified Green Zone near the embassy.

The incident occurred only moments after President Trump ordered the Pentagon to remove US troops in Afghanistan & Iraq by 2,500. This drawdown would be complete by Jan. 15 of next year.
