(The Post Millennial) – In upstate New York, a very close congressional race has yet to be called, and now a county attorney is alleging that she has found evidence of dead people voting.
Madison County Attorney Tina Wayland-Smith mentioned that, within her home county, they have found absentee ballots that had to be disqualified because the voters are “deceased”.
According to the Epoch Times, a formal filing has been made to New York Supreme Court Justice Scott Del Conte in the matter of this congressional race in New York State’s 22nd Congressional District.
The election started out as being in favor of Republican candidate Claudia Tenney by roughly 27,000 votes. However, when absentee ballots started coming in, that lead was erased, and now the difference is by perhaps 12 or 13 votes.
Democratic rival candidate Anthony Brindisi has expressed confidence that he will wind up as the winner. His campaign released the following statement:
“Election results from the remaining counties in the district show Anthony Brindisi has now taken the lead. We are hopeful that once New York’s 22nd congressional district is certified, Representative Brindisi will be sworn in again to continue his bipartisan work on behalf of this district.”
NY State Board of Elections official Doug Kellner commented on the incident:
“This is a known problem of voting by mail. It should be investigated. It is an election fraud. It’s a felony.”
