(SNews) – House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) took off the kid gloves and declared that the mounting evidence against Democrat President Joe Biden and his family amounts to a bribery scheme that “borders on treason.”

Comer and House committee Republicans have been investigating allegations of the Biden family’s multi-million dollar pay-to-play conspiracy.

The allegation of possible treasonous actions is the strongest condemnation we have heard so far from the GOP.

Newsmax host Rob Schmitt asked Comer if any of these payments were benefitting the Chinese Communist Party or other adversarial countries.

“I think so, I think they all were,” Comer said.

“The thing that stands in my mind is, one of the first acts Joe Biden made as president of the United States was he cancelled a thing called the China initiative.

“One of the first things Joe Biden did was he ended the China initiative, he ended it, and he said it was on the basis of racial profiling and discrimination.

“The only country that benefited from that would be the Chinese Communist Party.

“The whole business model for the Bidens with CEFC was to try to help China gain access, to reduce the barriers of entry for China,” Comer said.

“Because after China bought into the Smithfield food processing facility, the United States government really ramped up the barriers to entry for China.

“So one of the things, and you’re gonna hear somebody talk about this in a deposition very soon, that the Bidens agreed to accept money from China to help them invest in the United States.”

Schmitt said that the Biden business dealings seem like “traitorous behavior.”

Comer said:

“Well, first of all, they’re an unregistered foreign agent because they’re clearly serving as essentially a lobbyist for China.

“And that’s a huge violation.

“That’s one of the things the IRS whistleblower said that the Bidens could have been prosecuted of, especially the president’s son, was being an unregistered foreign agent.

“It borders on treason, in my opinion,” the House Oversight Committee chair added.

On Thursday, Comer revealed that the House Oversight Committee has identified four “specific policy decisions” that Joe Biden made as president that were made because of “compromise” from foreign bribe payments.

Comer made the explosive revelation during an appearance on WABC-AM radio with co-hosts John Catsimatidis and Rita Cosby.

According to Comer, his Committee’s investigation showed Biden had made six policy decisions as a result of foreign bribery payments.

The alleged payments were made via business deals arranged by his son Hunter Biden, as Slay News has reported.

Comer revealed that investigators have now uncovered evidence that proves four of those six “specific policy decisions” were made while Biden was serving as president.
