(Big League Politics) – After a string of disappointing Supreme Court decisions, the Supreme Court has finally ruled in a way that actually benefits American interests.
The United States Supreme Court (SCOTUS) threw out a legal challenge to President Donald Trump’s attempt to leave out illegal aliens from being counted in congressional apportionment.
Such a move protects the representation of American citizens and keeps derelict blue states with large illegal alien populations from receiving more federal funding and acquiring larger congressional representation.
According to John Binder of Breitbart News, the state of the New York and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) put forward the legal challenge that SCOTUS struck down in a 6-3 decision on December 18, 2020.
The ruling majority published an unsigned opinion that described ACLU and New York’s challenge “premature” due to the lack of clarity on how many people would be excluded from the counts and the effect it could potentially have on a number of states’ representation.
The opinion said the following:
At the end of the day, the standing and ripeness inquiries both lead to the conclusion that judicial resolution of this dispute is premature. Consistent with our determination that standing has not been shown and that the case is not ripe, we express no view on the merits of the constitutional and related statutory claims presented. We hold only that they are not suitable for adjudication at this time.
The judgment of the District Court is vacated, and the case is remanded with instructions to dismiss for lack of jurisdiction.
Stephen Breyer, Sonia Sotomayor, and Elena Kagan, SCOTUS’s resident liberals, put out a signed dissent that said Trump’s action should be ruled as unconstitutional.
“Because I believe plaintiffs’ claims are justiciable, ripe for review, and meritorious, I would affirm the lower court’s holding,” Breyer said in the dissent. “I respectfully dissent.”
Dale Wilcox of the Immigration Reform Law Institute (IRLI) congratulated Trump for proceeding with the plan.
“It is crystal clear that our national government should represent the American people, and no one else,” Wilcox declared in a statement. “And court after court has held that illegal aliens are not part of the American people. They, therefore, should not be represented by our elected officials in Washington, as they would be if included in the apportionment count.”
“We applaud the President for having the clarity of vision to see this, and the forthrightness to act on it. And we are glad that today the Supreme Court tossed out this lawsuit meant to block him,” Wilcox commented.
The Court’s decision lets Trump continue implementing his policy. However, the Census Bureau still hasn’t delivered the final counts to the Commerce Department.
According to reports from DC insiders, the counts may not be ready until after Joe Biden is installed as president on January 20, 2021.
Biden has publicly stated that he will not follow through with Trump’s policy. On a previous occasions, Biden asserted that the U.S. Constitution “clearly requires” illegal aliens to be included in congressional apportionment.
Binder outlined the political ramifications of counting illegal aliens in congressional apportionment:
States such as Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, and West Virginia are projected to lose congressional seats if the illegal alien population is included in congressional apportioning.
Journalist Ryan Girdusky added some insight to the political effects of Trump’s move:
If this is allowed to apply, states with large illegal alien populations like New York and California will likely lose more seats than originally estimated and states like Texas and Florida may not gain as many as previously thought https://t.co/WjPd79vgRz

Although the Wuhan virus pandemic has shifted the focus away from immigration, it’s still undoubtedly a major issue.
If it’s not addressed in a restrictionist manner, immigration could be the final nail in the coffin for America’s constitutional form of government and allow the Left to have a permanent majority.
America First patriots must be prepared for a major amnesty fight if Democrats end up taking both seats in the Georgia runoff.
