(The Post Millennial) – Thousands of anti-Israel activists marched through the streets of Seattle on Sunday calling for the destruction of Israel. This capped off a weekend of unrest and political violence in North America that saw anti-Semites march to “commemorate the 73rd year of the Palestinian catastrophe and on-going ethnic cleansing of Palestine.”

Far-left protesters, including Antifa, met in downtown Seattle at Westlake Park at about 1 pm, rallying for Israel to be abolished. They burned an Israeli flag and assaulted pro-Israel civilians.

As the group rallied while spewing anti-Semitic hatred, chants of “Long live the intifada” rang out amongst those in attendance. The intifadas were violent uprisings by Palestinians who carried out terror attacks.

During the rally, a far-left fringe activist assaulted Jewish journalist and conservative radio show host Jason Rantz as he was documenting the chaos. Rantz was hit from behind with a Palestinian flag.

The violent anti-Semitic event was scheduled to coincide with celebrations of the Nabka.

In 1948 after Israel was declared a state, the Arab countries attacked the surrounding fledgling country of holocaust survivors, refugees, and farmers; trying to wipe out all the Jews and “drive them into the sea.”

At the same time they expelled all Jews (hundreds of thousands of them) from those countries, the Arabs also expelled the Palestinians. They were told to leave and could only return when they finished killing all the Jews.

However, Israel won and celebrated their independence; a day now called Yom Ha’atzmaut, which had its anniversary on Saturday.

The Arabs and Palestinians call Israel Independence Day the Nakba, the day they tried to commit mass genocide of Jews but failed.

The far-left groups usually hold their anti-Israel events on Sabbath in order to prevent pro-Israel and observant crowds from attending, but this year they held them on Sunday which had many speculating was a trap.

Jewish organizations sent out warnings to members not to attend events or counter-protests out of fear of violence, which is exactly what happened in many cities across North America; such as: Toronto, Seattle, New York, Los Angeles, and Montreal.
