(The Post Millennial) – A deputy with the Marshal’s office in Bellevue, Idaho was suspended without pay after posting a parody video mocking LeBron James. The NBA star posted a controversial, and since-deleted, tweet following the officer-involved shooting of Ma’Kiah Bryant in Columbus, Ohio.
A GoFundMe was started by a friend of deputy Nate Silvester and has since raised over $30,000 in a single day.
After the justified fatal officer-involved shooting of Bryant, LeBron James doxxed a photo of the Ohio police officer to his 50 million followers on Twitter and said, “You’re Next” then ended the tweet with “accountability.”

Deputy Nate Silvester posted a video to TikTok Sunday where he made-up a scenario similar to the attempted stabbing by Ma’Kiah Bryant which led to her being fatally shot.
In the viral video which as of Wednesday had received 4.4 million views. Deputy Silvester pretends to phone LeBron James asking him for policing advice on how he should deal with an attempted stabbing right outside his vehicle.
Deputy Silvester ended the video slamming self-proclaimed “King” Lebron James and asking why he turned a blind-eye to black on black crime yet only cares if a black person dies at the hand of a white cop.
“Listen, I’m out here at this disturbance call and there’s a guy trying to stab another guy,” Silvester says in the video. “Deadly force is completely justified. So you don’t care if a black person kills another black person but you do care if a white cop kills a black person even if he’s doing it to save the life of another black person?”
Although the video was well-received and praised by many, the Bellevue Marshal’s office released a statement on Facebook condemning the actions of Deputy Silvester.
“The Bellevue Marshal’s Office is aware of the extreme controversy regarding Deputy Marshal Silvester’s viral TikTok,” the statement says.
“The statements made do NOT represent the Bellevue Marshal’s Office. The Bellevue Marshal’s Office always demands that our Deputies engage with our citizens in a friendly and professional manner. This is NOT how we expect our Deputies to act on duty or use city time. This is a personnel issue that is being dealt with internally.”
