(The Post Millennial) – FBI Director Christopher Wray formally named Scott McMillion to be the FBI’s first chief diversity officer who will direct the Office of Diversity and Inclusion that was established in 2012, the FBI said in a press release on Monday.

“As our chief diversity officer, Scott is the right person to ensure that the FBI fosters a culture of diversity and inclusion, and that our workforce reflects all the communities we serve,” Director Wray said.

“I’m grateful he has agreed to bring his talent, experience, and dedication to our Office of Diversity and Inclusion, where he will build upon the important work that others started.”

This announcement comes as Democrat strongholds across the country attempt to implement mandatory Critical Race Theory (CRT) training, which has come under heavy critique from conservatives as this course of study instructs Americans that the nation was founded upon racism.

According to the press release, McMillion served as the chair of the Black Affairs Diversity Committee for several years, strengthening the Office of Diversity and Inclusion with efforts to enhance minority recruitment, employment, and retention at FBI.

McMillion began his FBI career in 1998 as a special agent Omaha, Nebraska and worked his way up the ladder to become the special agent in charge of the National Security Branch out of the Columbia Field Office in South Carolina in 2019.

Since McMillion is the first ever chief diversity officer for the FBI, his duties—at the expense of taxpayers—remain unclear. However, if the FBI follows in lockstep with separate government entities, including the military’s recent adoption of “diversity trainings,” CRT trainings or something of similar caliber would fail to render as a surprise.

Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) recently introduced a bill aiming to ban Critical Race Theory from the military, while former President Trump banned the woke social justice movement via executive oder during his final few months on office. President Biden overturned that order nearly immediately upon entering office.
