(Big League Politics) – The New York Post editorial board has called for an end to the 2nd Amendment to “get weapons of war off America’s streets.”

The Post, which emanated from the same media conglomerate as Fox News and the Wall Street Journal, is using two recent mass shootings that have been amplified by the press as an excuse to attack gun rights at a time when cities are being ravaged by gangs of leftist thugs on a near-daily basis.

“President Joe Biden called Tuesday for Congress to move immediately to “ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines.” It’s a start,” they wrote – demanding even more gun control than what Biden wants.

The Post is championing far-left policies to curtail gun rights that have been implemented in liberal dominated areas that are falling apart and currently undergoing massive crime waves with thugs undeterred by civilian firearm ownership.

“Curbing guns is what led to New York City’s three-decade reduction in murders. And, sadly, it’s the dismissal of that progress that has led to a rise in shootings here,” they wrote in a completely baseless statement that they did not attempt to support with facts and logic.

They allege that “beefed-up background checks would help keep firearms of all kinds out of hands attached to unsound minds,” suggesting without evidence that a mandatory waiting period might have prevented recent mass shootings in Atlanta, Ga. and Boulder, Colo.

The Post even audaciously invoke the Founding Fathers in their anti-constitutional screed, claiming that when they explicitly wrote that gun freedom “shall not be infringed,” they didn’t really mean the plain-spoken words that they wrote in the Bill of Rights.

“When they enshrined the Second Amendment, the Founding Fathers could not have conceived of high-capacity magazines. Hunting and home protection are one thing — but what civilian needs an AR-15?” they wrote.

“The Supreme Court has ruled the Constitution protects guns “in common use,” not weapons of war. Our forefathers did not want every American to be capable of mass slaughter,” the Post editorial board added.

The Post is a subsidiary of Newscorp, the powerful media conglomerate founded by Australian billionaire Rupert Murdoch. Since Murdoch’s quasi-retirement, his liberal offspring has taken additional power over the family business, and the results have been pathetic.

Big League Politics has reported on Fox News and the Wall Street Journal betraying former president Trump on countless occasions and then cheering on the vote steal that cheated Americans out of their democracy. They have lost droves of supporters as a result of stabbing their supporters in their backs.

We have also reported on how the Post doxxed a terror victim who was assaulted by a Black Lives Matter thug to get more social media clicks for their tabloid rag:

“The fake news is doxxing a victim of left-wing terrorism in Portland, Ore. because posted a meme criticizing serial felon drug addict George Floyd – the patron saint of riotous thugs – shortly before he was savagely beaten by a mob.

The New York Post, an ostensibly right-wing publication, actually had the audacity to publish this smear…

The Post is trying to shame left-wing terror victim Adam Haner because he wondered why Floyd has received widespread media coverage and outrage while 5-year-old Cannon Hinnant has received silence after being murdered in cold blood by a black assailant.

“George Floyd was a 46-year old felon, high on Fentanyl, and he got 4 televised funerals and 70 days of riots,” the post reads. “What does 5-year old Cannon Hinnant get?”

The Post also shamed Hiner for posting “all lives matter” memes on his Facebook page and asking facetiously: “Would it be wrong to follow rioters home and burn down their properties? Asking for a friend.”

Subversive media outlets like the Post are far more insidious than any in the dying left-wing media. They are the traitorous Fifth Estate undermining the conservative cause from within and by far the worst of all fake news vultures.
