(The Post Millennial) – Democrat Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez slammed Republicans on Friday. Speaking to fans on her evening “Cooking Q&A,” AOC blamed Republicans for the current lockdown measures.
‘I just think it’s sad. Why do you need to ‘get something’ for helping your constituents?’ — @AOC got real about what’s holding up COVID-19 relief while cooking dinner in an Instagram Live pic.twitter.com/YHjoGUaJwk

“Here’s what’s ironic to me, all these Republicans, all these people who were anti-shut down, were the same people who weren’t wearing masks, who forced us to shut down in the first place,” said AOC.
“So if you’re anti-shutdown, you better have been wearing a mask all damn year, because don’t come to me and say you’re anti-shutdown when you’re spreading COVID all over the place, potentially,” she continued.
AOC concluded her rant, “As elected officials, our job is to be first in modeling responsible behavior, because I can’t ask you to wear a mask if I’m not wearing a mask. I can’t ask you to take a vaccine if I’m not willing to take a vaccine.”
It remains unknown how long the current lockdown measures are to last in various states. President Trump’s “Operation Warp Speed” has resulted in a vaccine rollout on December 15, 2020.
